Turned Wooden Objects

Turned wooden pieces can serve many different purposes. The difficult part is choosing a type of wood that is appropriate for the intended use of the object.

For example, if I make a wooden cup, I cannot use just any kind of wood. Some trees have toxic wood, such as aroeira, among others.

This relationship between the object and its intended use is very important. I know people who simply use an object without considering whether that material is actually suitable for that purpose.
